My Unicorn Beauty started with a mom's problem to solve.
My son has eczema, and my own skin is sensitive, so store-bought lotions and washes were never really an option for either of us. Instead of settling, I started making my own body oils and butters at home, formulated to actually calm and hydrate skin without the harsh ingredients that break us out or flare things up.
The name "My Unicorn Beauty" came from my daughter, because in our house, finding a product that actually works for sensitive skin and smells amazing feels a little bit like magic.
Before skincare, I ran a candle business starting in 2020. In 2023, that turned into the Unicorn Kiss and Unicorn Diva lines you see today, whipped body scrubs, body oils, and washes made for real skin, including skin that doesn't tolerate much.
Outside of the kitchen counter where these products first started, I've also been writing. Under the name Ninikia Harris, I write the steamy, drama-filled romance novels you'll find in our Ebooks & Novels collection, a passion project I've chipped away at for a couple of years, whenever I could find the time. My Unicorn Beauty is where both sides of what I love, skincare and storytelling, live under one roof.
Every product is made with my own family in mind first. If it's gentle enough for my son and me, it's gentle enough for you.
